Hello. My name is Lisa. I am a forgetful blogger! Hahahah! Too many things going on to keep up with everything. Yikes! It's not that I don't remember you blog, you just keep being put on hold. *sigh* I need more hours in a day, and more energy from my body. ok enough about me...How are you?
The shop has been steady and I have lots of little projects brewing. More yummy totes, and fun plushies soon. The brick and mortar is also keeping me busy (never a time to think). In between sewing, working, you can often catch me doodling (above doodle of recent store window display). I have also taken up knitting, which I am enjoying. It has been a good activity to bring to the shop that doesn't require plugs, nosey motors, or many tools.
Also in non-crafty news, my bathroom is almost completely done! We only have to hang 2 things and she is finished! Boy, oh boy was that remodel a challenge. It took me to my breaking point! Now I am pleased to say we have a lovely tiled 30's style bathroom. Yay! I will post pics when we are completely finished.
Ok. Off I got o get some other work done and pump myself full of coffee!\
cheers!

Spring has sprung!

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while! It has been crazy (shops, health, etc...). I hope everyone is enjoying some form of Spring weather! It has been unseasonably warm here this week, and even though I know it won't last...it stills feels good :) The Sun always gets me in the mood to clean everything. That's what I really enjoy about the season, Spring cleaning! Align Center

I have been hard at work applique, knitting, sewing, and doodling. It has been a very productive Winter. I plan on having many new things popping up as the year goes on. But for now I am busy like a bee! So I hope you all have a sweet as can be weekend, and enjoy my little cherries that I hope to eat on some chocolate cake tonight :)

Cheers,

Cute by the dozen!

Well the holidays are fast approaching and I am started to feel the stress of it all. With the order s starting to step up, and family to shop for, it gets a little hairy. So over the last few weeks it has felt like everything has to be made on a grand scale, by the dozen or 3 dozens! Phewww I think I broke a sweat just thinking about it all! So I hope to start making and adding some new additions to the shop, but I can only cross my fingers and hope for the best!

This past weekend was super busy! My Son turned 4 and we had a (at his request) transformer party. We had 10 (or 11) four and five year olds , and about 9 adults. So my house was crazy, but it was a controlled chaos. At least that's what I want to tell myself. I think it went well. No injuries, the kids had fun, and my house was in pretty good condition when everyone left. Not to shabby!

Well off I go to continue sewing and maybe sneak in some nachos for dinner! Yum!

Oh my! It has been so long since I have gave some love to my little old blog! I have been beyond busy as of late and have had zero time. As you all know I am opening my own B&M shop, so most of my days have been spent there. As for itybitybags, I have my usually orders and accounts to fill and I truck along. I do wish I was a little more ahead of the game this late in the season. It is scary how little prepared I am for Christmas and the holidays right now. ugh. I need to get on the ball! I hope to have some new and fun additions to the shop soon, and some yummy recipes and such on the blog. Below you will find one of my new little itybity shop mates :)
Turtle anyone!

Ok, Off I go to tackle the morning. Last night we were suppose to have meter showers, but I missed them again :( errrr. I always miss it! Try as I might to remember, I always miss it! Well tata for now, but I promise to be back soon in full swing! Have a cozy Thursday my sweets!

Well its Wednesday! Thank goodness! It has been a long week and past weekend filled with family, sewing, yard work, visits to the dentist, cooking and trips to the PO. Pheew I think I just broke a sweat writing about it! I have added some new little pips to my shop like this little guy! So welcome Chatty Bear and visit in the shop!

I am trying really hard to get back in the swing of things (including my neglected blog) and hope to be back in full swing next week. I have been kicking around the notion to start a recipe day with special allergy sensitive menus (for all you allergic fellows).

Ok. I am off to visit the Post lady again (her name is Shirley and she is one awesome lady)!

Well it has been a long last 2 weeks. I have been extremely busy, and out of my mind the past week. Everything seem to fall together all at once! Last week some of you may know, my Grandfather inlaw passed away. He was a loving and proud man, we all will miss him greatly. Much of last week was spent driving to and from NY to visit family and say our goodbyes. This unexpected event lead to me being a little behind schedule. So I spent most of Easter weekend trying to catch up.
How ever I did find a little snip it of time to browse the local auction (which I love! It is located on a huge livestock farm!). I saw this beauty, and at that moment I knew I must have her! In perfect condition this 1920's-30's phonograph plays beautifully! I also scooped up some phonograph 78 records. So most of my Sunday consisted of sewing and listening to records. It was perfect!

So off I go to listen to some foxtrots and drink my beloved coffee.
Also there is no need to fret! The DIY Tuesday will be back in full swing next week!

Cheers!
