Makers unite!
Things have been nutty around here. There is always personal and family happenings, but also lots of busy creation happenings too. I have been working on lots of new products and ideas for the shop. I have already introduced two new projects; The holiday "Bag-O-Cheer" and Monsieur molar. They had been floating around my head and my sketch book for a while.
I do have some exciting news that I can't share yet, but I hope to be able to share it soon! It is so super awesome and I am so honored to be a part of it! Eeek! Not to totally be a tease, here are some new things I can share!
I have been feverishly designing fabrics. It is my new obsession! This guy above is my ode to the 1980's. My Son recently saw an old Simon game commercial from the 80's and now he has been searching out all 1980s games. I have decided yet what I plan to make with it? I experimented on some designs, but nothings a keeper yet.

I also designed these 2 little birdies. I think I might name them Peep and Tweet! They will be making an appearance in the shop soon. After the holidays I really have to clean up my act, literally. I have to organize everything! This tend to get a wee bit unruly around here with the Holidays.

A couple of things coming up in the ityworld. Look for holiday sales on EtsyonSales , Lots of new items at Needles &Pens in sunny San Francisco, and if you haven't already sign up with my newsletter for coupons and events!

Tis the season...
The holiday's are getting closer and closer! I find myself getting a wee bit stressed out about peoples gifts. Not only is it hard finding all the money to spend, but I find it harder to find the perfect gift! I search and search trying to find what I think the person will love. So because I am such a worry wort I try to find ways to ease the holiday headache!
Here are some things to remember..
1. You can't please everyone.
2. Remember to stop and get a snack.
3. If you can't find the item wanted, don't forget the old fall back..the gift card.
4. make wish lists! -Loads of sites now have this feature and it is really easy to compile a list of ideas.
5. Don't forget food. Sometimes it is a bonus to receive a dessert or meal at the holidays. For many this means a day off from cooking!
6. Gifts don't need to be big, or expensive. Sometimes the smallest, but thoughtful gift is the one most appreciated :)

Off I go to bake some lovely coffee cake! I am drooling already!

Hope your day is as sweet as cider!

Hello out there in Ity world! Sorry I did not update yesterday, but it has been a busy couple of days. The shop had many orders to fulfill, but now I think finally there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Today I am feeling a bit under the weather ...so my post will be kind of short.
I am so excited that Thanksgiving is only a week away!!! As a family tradition we have Thanksgiving at the Grandparents house every year. I am in charge of making the pies (apple & pumpkin) and the roasted butternut squash! I can't wait to stuff myself silly and visit with family.
My head today is stuffed with unhappy sniffles..so I have decided to List a couple of great movies I just recently viewed!
Happy Wednesday!

Oh and I almost forgot Mr.Snowman! What a charmer he is!

Made by Vintage By Crystal. I love all her magical little critters!

Hello all my Ity friends! Well it is Sunday and I am pooped! I have been sewing no stop all day long and am very tired. The good news is I have made some adorable creations that I can't wait to share with you!

I already starting to feel the holiday excitement! The hussle and bustle of shoppers at the local stores and the crisp air in the morning. It is a tradition in our family to put up the Christmas decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving... I can hardly wait! I do have to admit I am a bit of a Christmas decoration addict. So in honor of my addiction I thought I might show you some adorable items I am dying to poses!
