Today is a sad day. Bettie Mae Page died at the age of 85. I was and still am a fan of Bettie page. All through my High school and college years I adored her. Being a curvy sort of girl I loved the embrace of the soft curves and hips of the pin-up girls of the 1950-60's. Bettie was real. She was any woman, She was you or me.

******This weekend is the Bust Craftacular so I will be very busy.

i was also saddened to hear of her death. i think pin-up girls are such a great symbol of femininity for strong women.
